Prairie State fails to go through with their promises and just wants to continually add classes. When you question the advisor ( Jennifer Forbes) will send back rude and disrespectful emails because she fails to do her job and wants to continually sell you more classes. I’m not saying this a horrible school because the professors minus one were very professional all my three and half years studying education. Also, when I met with the transfer counselor ( Sarah Hein) her attitude was very unprofessional and disrespectful as well. She doesn’t want to do her job, on a virtual meeting she was very annoyed and distracted the entire meeting and each time I had a conversation with her. Then, the financial aid department lacks knowledge and communication because when I started my journey the advisor mentioned to me about applying for a scholarship but I was told no when I earned it with great gpa and all the requirements that they had asked of me that took a very long time to receive. Just be aware that this college is a scam and they will not clarify anything when they are in the wrong.

A really nice place to go to receive dental services for a fraction of the cost for the whole family. They really do care about their patients. The Dental Hygiene Clinic is located in the school's Building K.

It is truly frightening to think someone like this is allowed to take care of anyone. I sincerely hope she is properly handled after such an egregious statement is made with no hint of remorse.

Best students attended the Prairie State College Prelicense 75hr Real Estate Classes. ( many for free) with WIE program.

The Illinois Drivers Facility in Prairie State College is very well organized. Progress is very well facilitated. The facility is in a very spacious area where the safety protocols are easy to follow and ARE adhered to. Regardless of the purpose of your visit, the applicable state associate will move you along expeditiously resulting in your spending a minimal amount of time in the building. I do recommend getting there at least 30 minutes before opening as lines for entry become long rather quickly.

I went here for one semester and wished I could have gone my entire college career (my parents wanted me to come back to Springfield to finish my two year degree though). I grew up in Chicago Heights and always said I would never go here, but couldn’t have been happier there. The entire staff was kind and capable. I had very good and helpful professors. Compared to my other college experiences, I felt like these were the professors that were actually routing for me. I signed up late for classes, but the advisor still gave me great options for classes and got me and no problem! All the students were so nice and it was a very accessible school. I love how all my classes were in one building. As an art student, I felt like I had very good programs and I learned a lot. The work loads were never too much to handle and I was able to take a full course load.

I recently completed the real estate licensing program here and was amazed at what I learned. All of my fees were paid in full. The WEI program covered all of my expense and we had an awesome teacher. My hats off to Mrs. Regina Richardson. She’s very knowledgeable and I feel very prepared to take the Illinois Real Estate Board exam❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is the most unorganized, most unprofessional nursing program I’ve ever seen. There are too many hands in the pot. You'll have one professor tell you to do things one way, and then the other professors will say It's done in a completely different way. Moreover, I wish I knew ahead of time about this program--because I would've gone elsewhere. This place is chaotic, everything is all over the place. From the Labs to the lectures; how do they expect students to learn like this? This program is a total waste of time. Oh and let’s not forget the bullying many of the students encounter at the hands of their professors. Some of the professors talk to the students like pure trash--like they’re children; hence, (I wouldn't even talk to a child in the way some of these instructors talk to their students). Furthermore, you’re teaching yourself (like how can you teach yourself to be a nurse?). Also, you’re scared to ask questions without the professors making you feel stupid for asking the question. Save yourself and go somewhere else, you'll be glad you did.

I visited During the soft opening and the process was efficient and seamless. Was able to take the online exam and driving test in under 45 minutes combined. Well done mr. White and your staff for coming up with a creative model to expedite customers.
