Went to the College of Engineering here, plenty of opportunities to get involved in research, plenty of good professors. Maybe it doesn't have the funding of the "more reputable" universities - but that makes UNCC incredibly efficient at producing research results. Student population knows how to turn up *when necessary*. Not really a party school - they get shut down pretty quick. Chancellor takes pride on making himself available to the student population (but realize you're talking to a busy man, don't just e-mail his secretary to complain). "It is what you make it" - I've heard this a lot at this university. That's generally true in life - so it shows people are learning. Quality school - not MIT - but local and quality. Take it seriously and get serious results. If you don't.... well don't blame us. We done told you.
It was a nice little walk through the gardens. I would recommend it if you are on campus and want a little refreshing jaunt. Parking was a little confusing but I wound up using the parking garage.
Parking so bad its almost laughable. I cant tell you how many classes ive gotten to late because I've had to walk 30+ minutes from the only vacant lot. This is what our tuition pays for??
Beautiful campus. Drop off was very efficient. Our son will be happy here!
Beautiful campus! Clean, well take care of the scrounging areas, and huge! A inspirational atmosphere!
I had professors from my community college that were also professors here at this school. It is never too late to get your degree and there are plenty of other options after you graduate if you’re not going into the medical field. Don’t let anyone manipulate you into thinking you’re not going anywhere if you haven’t reached a perfect GPA or whatever they tell you. I’m doing just fine and I was an adult student. One piece of advice is that if you happen to not do anything extra during school, look into internships that other companies offer for after you graduate. A lot of internships are paid and available for after you graduate almost immediately, too. I graduated with a Bachelors in Biology, and went into an internship with the big mouse. Right after I went into a management program with another company. One thing to watch out for are several staff members that may be…over it, don’t be afraid to report, and answer back to them. People are not correct just because they work for the school, learn to defend yourself. You won’t be seeing these people after you graduate and much less the ones that do not have anything to do with your major and department. The school itself is beautiful, the exercise facilities are great for everyone, although some of their employees and student workers are a bit over their heads. There is a bad distance between some classrooms when I attended. So if it’s changed then so be it. That is one cool thing about the school, is the sheer size of it. The gardens to walk around are amazing, and the school itself is definitely a workout to walk around. The library is huge, food and beverage options are amazing, too. Read read read what the qualifications for your graduation are. Read what the qualifications of classes are for programs after you graduate so that you take adequate classes, but do not settle for anything that they want to put you in, so make sure you thoroughly read class requisites for your graduation and for programs that you would like to be in during or after. Another tip, make sure you’re taking classes that you want to take too, if you like animals and plants go for those classes, if you like genetics, go for those classes, the school gives you the choice for that as well.
One of the top schools in the nation for the cybersecurity program with world class professors and fellow classmates. I was an international student and graduated in 2019, and I can say I miss every single thing about this campus. If I were to go back in time, I would do it again and again without any second thoughts. Go niners!!

I took a walk in the morning God is good
Do not go here for gainful employment. Engineering, computer science, CPA, RN tend to get a job from here. The rest of the degrees not at all. They have teachers that will give you a hard time on a test and ask for things that were not in any study material. It's a power trip for them. The nice buildings were paid by the tax payers. There is not any correlation from the nice campus and you getting a better job. CMS, CMPD, military will recognize your degree. The career center got me a job as a manager at taco bell. I could have gotten that job with my high school diploma. Biggest rip off in my life! I know this place is cheap, but Queens and the Abbey grads do not hate there College like this place.
So impressed with the botanical gardens. 100% worth the drive. Gorgeous, well planned collection.
the staff at this university violated 3 of my constitutional rights. hope they know im getting the office of civil rights on their @sses.

I've been here for three years now and I must say that despite the few flaws, the university is quite enjoyable. There are all sorts of things to do to get involved in campus life; there are comedy shows, concerts, events, and sports events …
