Ferrum College

This is absolutely a beautiful campus. The surrounding areas are beautiful the people are nice. Currently I'm here on a summer retreat with our church youth group. The facilities are great. All this kids say the food is really good. I must agree with them it is good food. We've been on several different youth camp events where the food was not so good. So this place definitely gets a five star for good food. There's not a lot of traffic. Seems to be very tranquil and enjoyable atmosphere.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. We went for a softball camp and the coach and the girls are amazing. Fun time and hard work!

Beautiful campus and everybody is so friendly and helpful!! I know my daughter will love her 4 years here!

Beautiful campus, incredible staff, and respectful students. Love Ferrum College! Can't wait to be back for Home Coming next year!

My daughter just applied to go here and his scheduled a tour. I'm just trying to get a couple of questions answered and I've tried calling every department that the college has and not a single person has answered the phone yet. Maybe the colors should invest in a hold system. It's a little concerning to be considering doing business with and sending my child to be educated by an institution that doesn't have anybody available to answer their phone. I'm hoping this is just a busy day and a one-off but considering the fact that not a single department has answered their phone makes me think otherwise.

Was there for the Folklife Festival. We haven't been in a long time and has no idea it would've changed so much. Most of the food was not community based church groups, fire depts etc, we especially missed the biscuit ladies. The events weren't stretched throughout the day like before, with everything being over by 1 pm. Worst of all was the handicap parking. It was a nice big level lot near an entrance gate and that's where the best of it ended. It was at the far, highest elevation of the event area of the campus so once we made our way all the way down to the homestead on the other side of Rt 40, there was no way a person with a rolling walker was able to go back uphill. The driver had to walk back, leaving the person with the walker alone on the side of 40 to be picked up. The parking should've been somewhere in the middle so the walking wouldn't have been so bad. The car show was in an area that we didn't find until time to leave for home, much less access it with the walker. The weather was beautiful though.

Awesome private faith based liberal arts college, with excellent close knit community. Small class sizes with wonderful instructors. Beautiful campus year round. Lots of activities to do on and off campus!
