I have went to a few schools in my life and this one here takes the cake for being the absolute best school I’ve ever gone to. Every single professor is outstanding, well spoken, and very knowledgeable. A few professors I’d like to notate in particular, teach exceptionally well and are very talented. This professors are Scott Ku, Jim Jewell, and Greg November. I recommend taking any of their classes and you will not regret it. I wish this college was a 4 year college so I could continue going here!

The continuing education here is fantastic! I’ve taken several classes, and every course is well-designed with exceptional, professional and knowledgeable instructors. Registration is smooth, the staff is helpful. Plus the library offers an amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I took CS classes here and was fortunate to have great professors. The CS program is still small and relatively new, but the professors and the support team genuinely care about students and do their best to help you succeed. The class quality is excellent. Some of my classmates are here to start a new career journey, while others had to pause their studies due to financial or family reasons and are now restarting their path. Some have already achieved success in certain areas, and others are carrying heavy burdens as they pursue their dreams. I feel truly grateful for all the support and help I’ve received here. That said, if you’re looking for a traditional college experience—making lots of friends, joining clubs, or dating—this might not be the best fit. However, if you work during the day and want to learn new skills to start a new career, it’s a great place to begin. If you have rich parents and are expecting a “dream college life,” you might want to look elsewhere.

Many teachers, with some notable exceptions, don't care about their students or their jobs. Complaint issues with students is handled incompetently in my experience, I don't personally feel safe trusting my academic career in the hands of some of the staff that works here. Figure out professionalism. Had interpersonal issues with another Vet there, who I debate to name, and she reported me to the school. What she told them exactly, I was never told. They handled it by trying to tell me not to make use of the veteran's lounge resource and essentially ostracizing me from the veteran's community there. I live alone and have few connections to family so the lounge was one of the few places I could have social interaction in a given day and the whole, needless to say, added some serious undue psychological stress to my studies. I walked on eggshells at all times while on campus, stayed away from that area for multiple quarters out of fear of academic consequences. I was unable to attend some regular events and interact with some clubs and communities to the depth I would have liked because of these issues for fear of running into her by mistake and my degree being in danger. Even after it was shown that she falsely reported me, the damage was done to my life and the 2nd half of my time there was much worse than the 1st. They rewarded her by giving her a job. I don't claim to be perfect in the situation, but I know that I dis my best to treat everyone with respect and particularly in the vet lounge, to try to treat people in a way they could feel safe and welcome, not only because many vets end their own lives due to not being able to connect to others but also because I know what it's like to not to have that. Advisors are great though in my experience. Couple professors here for some important math classes are pretty bad which puts a big hamper on meeting grad requirements due to either a gatekeeping attitude or just pure apathy, not sure what it is but they need to figure it out. This is a community college, where people with jobs and real lives come. You need to get your head out of the clouds. Pretty decent gym, get some bumper plates in there. 2 stars because at leat they gave me my degree in the end, after no small amount of obstacles. Edit: updating this 5/21/25 to add details

I’ve had a lot of issues with the staff and faculty at this school. I am taking it because I have to but if you have a choice I would not recommend this school to anyone. After coming from a different amazing community college the stark contrast is appalling. The lack of community here is very sad and hard to be apart of.

Why do you feel the need to shut down the in-person bookstore of all things? And why would you want to replace it with a COMPLETELY ONLINE alternative?

Excellent college. Small class size. Great faculty. Two years of free college for Seattle residents thru Seattle Promise.

Great school for beginning your degree program. Located next to some of the most affordable housing in north Seattle. Housed in what was meant to be a jail. Notice the exterior only floor changes, and the skywalks over the commons that were clearly repurposed.

Love the student support here from the institution and the other students. Feels like home and I can imagine taking more classes here as time goes on. Teachers are very invested.

School looks awesome but not a good fit for me. Terrible tutoring system. One tutor is in charge of Biology, Chemistry, physics. Students needs specific questions not being ranted about one thing for 30 minutes to an hour. If school sells to students about tutoring, I hope students not rely on them as much. Tutors are not as helpful and always available. School needs to hire assistants to professors not tutors. That way, students really get the help they need. Ann, the tutor, is greatly more knowledged and really wants to spend time with you not complaining about money or compensation. She always shows up on weekends and I relied on her with histology. And school lecture is alot longer and more in depth for three months course. I found it hard to stay motivated in the class with lack of interactions with others and busy catching up. But lecture itself has good quality and like a professor.

Sub-par campus, a couple of good teachers. One of the dumbest clases I ever took was intercultural communications or something along those lines. I thought it was going to be about how to work with people from different backgrounds. It was …

The teachers and classes are great. Most services are excellent, what keeps this a 3 star is the financial aid office cancelling my (already accepted) awards a mere two days before the start of the quarter and not saying a single word to me …

I am sort of a late bloomer and graduated college really late, but even if you get a failing grade in say psych200 it’s probably because the curricula is advanced- most of the students are returns or post bachelor phds who come back for …

Choose another school. They were sub-par before Covid and have only gotten worse. I’ve personally experienced everything from an instructor dropping a class the night before the quarter began (they tried to salvage that by bringing on …

My review is specifically regarding the International Business program here. I would say from my experience that my professors definitely warranted a five-star review, and that the quality of education I received adequately prepared me for my postgraduate studies.
